Tony Vernon, HWC, NMC, AMC, AMM
Affective Neuroscientist
Professional Couples Coach with 27+ Years of Experience
(Husband to Dayerlis)
Tony is an established Couples Coach, with a unique approach. Couples in Love need Communication Skills, Tools, Mental & Emotional Abilities & Character to Succeed with Love. Also, unless couples in love are personally and professionally successful, their loving relationship, family and children usually suffer from the instability that happens with inadequate communication skills, and inadequate overall personal and professional success.
Tony studied under the late Jaak Panseep, an Estonian-American Jewish Neuroscientist and Psychobiologist and the Pioneer of Affective Neuroscience and is committed to carrying on his work. Tony has also studied under many other professors from notable institutions including Harvard, Stanford, MIT, Yale, Emory, Indiana University, New York University and USC University of California:
Tony has been coaching couples for over 27-years, and trains professionals as part of his professional work as the Chief Education Officer for Credentialed Coach Training. His 27+ years of experience of working with couples provides him with the ability to train and supervise couples therapists, couples counselors, marriage counselors, psychologists, psychotherapists and coaches to be more skilled at helping couples to Succeed with Love. He works with a capability model and a competency model to help people to develop skills in relationships, life, love and business, and is involved in credentialing and growing standards in the USA and throughout the World for The International Authority for Professional Coaching & Mentoring (IAPC&M) and is also an Ombudsman for the United States Ombudsman Association (USOA) for public and child protection.
Tony grew up in a broken home environment and through hard work and perseverance, worked his way out of it. After a period of ten years in which he worked with different therapists, counselors and coaches he decided to train in 1999 as a Professional Life, Executive & Team Coach with Noble Manhattan Coaching under Gerard O’Donovan, a World-class Coach Trainer. Today, 27+ years later, he is the Chief Education Officer for Credentialed Coach Training and a Credentialed Master Coach (AMC) and Credentialed Master Mentor (AMM) with the International Authority for Professional Coaching & Mentoring (IAPC&M), and an International Coach Trainer & Educator. Including his own time in therapy, counseling and coaching himself as a client he has 30+ years of experience. His personal participation in counseling, therapy and coaching helps Tony to know what actually works in coaching and what great support feels like, and to know better what does, and what does not work to help clients to achieve results. In his 27+ years of working face-to-face and virtually with clients he has worked with many notable world leaders and many celebrities. Tony helps couples to succeed with Love, and families or parents to be up-to-date on parental knowledge. Tony studied under Dan Hughes, Ph.D., the Founder of Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP) and Dr. Margot Sunderland to be able to provide greater professional support and guidance to help couples, parents and children. Tony studied under the late Jaak Panksepp, a Jewish Estonian-American Neuroscientist and Psychobiologist who pioneered Affective Neuroscience. His research and work is still at the front of Neuroscience today in 2025.
Tony worked for a decade on low pay for non-profit 501c3 Hippocrates Wellness, helping in this time tens of thousands of individuals suffering with poor health, including: osteoarthritis, rheumatoid arthritis, diabetes, heart disease, multiple sclerosis (MS), fibromyalgia, IBS, osteoporosis, depression, anxiety and all types of chronic illnesses, including many people suffering from cancer.
To help more people who could not travel to Hippocrates Wellness due to cost or inability to travel, he built their Plant-Based Nutrition and Wellness Program and their Accredited Professional Coach Training, which he gained accreditations with the International Coaching Federation (ICF), the International Authority for Professional Coaching & Mentoring (IAPC&M) and the International Association of Therapists (IAOTH).
In 2024, after a decade of working for Hippocrates Wellness Tony as well as working with people on campus had also trained 1,600+ students online in 63 countries, many of them medical doctors, counselors, therapists, nutritionists, and experienced professionals themselves in lifestyle medicine.
Tony believes in constantly furthering his education, and personal and professional development and thus has studied with many notable professors and teachers from notable institutions including Harvard, Stanford, MIT, Yale, Emory, Indiana University, New York University and USC University of California. He is extremely active in his commitment to learn more from the most knowledgeable, eminent professional people he can find, many of which are not mainstream – yet leaders in their own right either in theory, research, science, practical clinical work or business success. Tony is highly knowledgeable in coaching, nutrition and exercise science to prevent or reverse disease or illness, and emotional health. His personal words: ‘It is ineffective for a Physician, Therapist, Counselor or Coach, indeed any health or mental health professional not to be experienced in lifestyle medicine and expect to be delivering improved mental health, wellness, and greater results and success for clients – lifestyle medicine and better mental health education must become a part of all health professionals continued professional development, and curriculums.’ His commitment to learning from leaders as mentors has taken his professional skills to a high level. However, he is always looking to learn more.

Times have changed with the advent of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to the extent that the pursuit of knowledge can now be obtained quickly and easily. But, will we be able to use AI to become noble? It is a wise choice to pursue nobility personally. Indeed, we need to, as a race still pursue human intelligence to be able to consciously reach our potential with AI.
